What do you love about yoga?
It makes me feel good! How easy and comfortable it is to sit at home and read a book, or watch a movie, or go shopping, or out to eat. But how wonderfully exhilarated, peaceful, fulfilled and satisfied I feel after a yoga class.
How has yoga and meditation changed your life?
My husband is a firm believer of exercise, stretching, keeping in shape, not letting yourself go. He is very disciplined when it comes to that, I was not. I was having a horrible time with pain in my lower back, “frozen” shoulder and sciatica, so I tried yoga. It’s amazing the range of motion I now have and the lack of pain! I am addicted! My husband is a wonderful supporter of my yoga habit, and happy that I found a place for it in my life.
Why do you practice at Bella Prana?
Barb, Shelly, Tina, Lorraine, Nicole, Amee, Debbie, Megan, Sarah, Dina, Amanda and Roni! I have had classes or conversation with all of these instructors and every one has made me feel welcomed and cared about. What more could I ask for? Well, the excellent schedule and level of classes. The aura of Bella Prana just feels good.
