From years in full-time ministry to certification as a wilderness EMT, from published writer to world-traveling retreat leader, Roni has guided students through transformative experiences across places like India and Nepal, and beyond — weaving together spirituality, wisdom, and movement in a way that is entirely, unmistakably hers. When she’s not at the studio, you’ll find her with her husband Bret, her son Fintastic (yes, that’s really his name!), and her puppy, Winnie Cooper.

She is honored to be one of the first teachers at Bella Prāṇa and a lead teacher of the teacher training program.
ASHLEY ADAMS

With family history hailing from the small beach town of Tarpon Springs, Florida, this business tycoon, mother, and eldest sister of four knew fate led her to purpose when doing “the work” didn’t quite feel like working. Ashley says the success of her business is rooted in pure frustration. In response to that frustration, Black Yoga Magazine was born. The only publication of its kind, BYM exists because of the lack of representation for people of color in the yoga world. Ashley also made the conscious decision to lower the barrier to entry when it comes to people of color obtaining their certification to teach Yoga and less than a year ago, Ashley launched her first 200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program virtually. To date, Ashley has successfully trained over 4000 yoga professionals.

Inspired by finding parts of her lost self on her mat, Luc wants to pass that feeling and sense of self empowerment onto her students while utilizing the physical aspects of asana practice. Asana as part one, the body, it’s movement. The mind with it’s thoughts follows. The Soul is what we ultimately try to reach. Creating space to become accustom to variety of discomfort, perhaps even uncertainty. Establishing the willingness to look at what we don’t want to see in the body, physical mind as well as the heart. Freeing our deeper truer Self from a place of Love. All that and some is the intention for any moving meditation, flow for your Soul.
TORIE JOHNSON
Torie sustained many injuries with ballet and performing arts over the years. As beautiful as the art is, it wasn’t good for her mental or physical health. She started yoga because she found the movement equally beautiful, but very beneficial for her overall health and wellbeing.
Torie went on to complete her YTT in 2022. She now adores seeing people taking care of themselves. Knowing when to push and knowing when to pull back and rest. And this is what Torie teaches in every class. Listen to your body and know that you are always doing your best.
