The 200hr Yoga Teacher Training powered by Bella Prāṇa and Black Prāṇa Magazine is dedicated to making becoming a yoga instructor more accessible and approachable. In 2022 we begin our hybrid training model that allows you to attend up to 150 live or in person, or take the entire training virtually on demand. This yoga alliance certified training is committed to creating soulful instructors and addressing the lack of representation and diversity among yoga instructors in America. We seek to create diverse access to experts in their field, in a funky and nurturing environment that celebrates each other exactly as we are.

When is the next 200hr Training?

Our next Yoga Teacher Training is set to begin in January 15th, 2022! Below you can see the exact dates of our live 5 day intensives that are held every other month at the Bella Prāṇa Collective and streamed around the world.

To join us please see below for the link to our training application. Your spot will be reserved as soon as we receive your deposit.

How long is the training program?

This training program will take 10 months. You will complete 5 intensives every other month, either live with us in person or virtually. If you need to miss an intensive, no worries, we will record them and make those videos available to you.

During the months in between your intensives you will have 50 hours of online lectures to complete at your own pace as well as physical yoga practices to supplement what you are learning in those lectures.

You may take longer than 10 months to complete if needed, and if you would like to complete the training in less time you can reach out to us directly. Otherwise, we find that this length of time allows the training to work with your family and lifestyle, while also allowing time for the knowledge to build and resonate more deeply.

What dates will the training meet?

You are able to complete 50 hours virtually on your own schedule. We will then have 4 day intensives every other month to allow you to join us live from anywhere in the world, or in person at the Bella Prāṇa Collective studio location. These intensives will be streamed live and also recorded for those who need to join virtually at another time.

October 20, 21, 22, 23, 24

Ashley Adams

Progressive, funny, and 100% real, Ashley Adams is the founder of Black Prāṇa Magazine and the Director of Teacher Training at the Collective. With family history hailing from the small beach town of Tarpon Springs, Florida, this business tycoon, mother, and eldest sister of four knew fate led her to purpose when doing “the work” didn’t quite feel like working. Ashley says her success is rooted in frustration. In response to that frustration, Black Prāṇa Magazine was born. The only publication of its kind, BPM exists because of the lack of representation for people of color in the yoga world. Ashley also made the conscious decision to lower the barrier to entry when it comes to people of color obtaining their certification to teach yoga. To date, we have successfully trained over 4000 yoga professionals.
