Holly and Bill have been coming to Bella Prana for the last 10 years, specifically to Megans Yin Class. We have nominated them to be our Students of the Month for May! They are always so kind and caring. We can’t imagine them not being a part of our Bella Prana family. We are so grateful for their dedication and commitment to themselves as well as their relationship to each other.
What do you love about yoga?
Yoga gives us time to be intentional – with ourselves and each other. In fact, yoga has become our “date night.”
How has yoga and meditation changed your life?
We have enough “yang” in our lives and (yin) yoga really gives us the opportunity to hit the pause button. Prior to regularly practicing such a passive practice we didn’t realize how much we needed to slow down until we did. We have realized when we don’t slow down we are not our best selves. Yoga and mediation have also helped us recover from injuries.
Why do you practice at Bella Prana?
Bella Prana accepts us as we are. Come as you are, when you can. And Megan is awesome – no one teaches yin like she does! We are not the same any given week if we miss a class.
What is your style of class to attend?
Holly is all about yin and restorative and Bill is too, but he likes the hot classes, too (not Holly).
