Bella Prana is a leader in yoga education and strives to elevate teachers and students beyond their current knowledge in order to serve their community from an empowered and educated center. This training focuses on in-depth education and practical applications of yoga theory,
philosophy and lifestyle. Upon completion, participants will be eligible for Yoga Alliance 500hr designation.

 


How long is the training program?

 


Our 300hr Advanced Teacher Training begins March 8, 2018 and will run for 10 months. We offer the option to complete this training in the span of one year, or over a period of three years.

This training begins with a 5-day immersion and continues with one weekend immersion every month; there are two weekend immersions scheduled in July. This training is about growing your existing yoga knowledge and practice. We will provide the space and opportunity for teachers and students to deepen their study and practice while being able to immediately use the skills we are sharing. Our curriculum will dive into deeper understanding of yoga, anatomy, and philosophy as well as practical methods to apply this knowledge directly to life and teaching.

Pricing

  • Total cost is $4,500 if paid in full by the start of the program. Save $200, for a total of $4,300, if paid in full by January 25. We ask for a $400 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space in the program.
  • Monthly payment plan available: $400 non-refundable deposit plus $430/month starting the first month, payable within ten months
  • Additional charge of 4% for credit card processing

What are the requirements for enrollment in the program?

 


Prerequisites

  • Successful completion of a YA 200hr Teacher Training Program
  • Submit Application & Essay
  • Submit resume
  • Minimum of 100 hours of teaching experience
  • Attend class with one of the lead teachers

Is the training Yoga Alliance Certified?

 


Our program is in the process of approval and will be Certified by Yoga Alliance before the program begins in March 2018.

This certification will qualify graduates for a YA 500-RYT designation. During this training, you will learn how to register yourself with the Yoga Alliance.

 


How do I reserve my spot?

 


Reach out to Jessica Lynne directly to sign up (not through the front desk of the studio). This way she can walk you through every step. A $400 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. You can pay in full or arrange a payment plan with us. We take cash, check or cards (no AmEx). Credit Card payments will be processed with an additional 4% fee.

What if I need to miss anything?

 


We understand that life happens. Though we ask that every student plan to be present for all of the hours listed, you will have the opportunity to make up some hours during your training. Certain topics may have to be made up by attending a future training.

If you must miss, we ask that you do NOT miss more than 15 hours of training at a maximum.

If you have to schedule a private session with an instructor to make up a lecture you missed, it will be at your OWN cost. Some topics can be made up without a private session, but we cannot guarantee this depending on what you miss. So, please be prepared for the possibility of returning to a future training. If you must come to a future training, there is no additional cost to you.
 


What are the requirements to graduate?

 


  • Successful completion of curriculum and course work for chosen path of study
  • Completion and submission of all assignments and coursework
  • Payment of complete tuition
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 hours of community service teaching
  • Completion of five assisting classes at the studio
  • Completion of American Red Cross CPR training
  • Successful completion of final test out
  • Submission of completed Application to Graduate
  • Essay – to be discussed during your training

Bella Prana 300hr Advanced Teacher Training provides teachers and students with the opportunity to delve into the depths of yoga. Our teaching team is inspired to share detailed knowledge in the areas of assisting, Sanskrit, sequencing, anatomy, philosophy and more.   • Advanced Assisting – You will learn skills and techniques to help students evolve and advance their experience in poses through hands-on assisting and adjusting. Find confidence to safely satisfy each student’s personal needs in advanced postures like deep twists, challenging backbends, leg behind the head poses and more.
  • Dynamic Vinyasa Sequencing – You will establish renewed confidence in dynamic and refreshing sequencing, to lead safe, fun and uniquely challenging vinyasa classes.
  • Anatomy – You will receive practical and in-depth training in anatomy and understanding of the human form, with a focus on addressing imbalances and injuries.
  • Meditation – You will receive tools and techniques to create a state of calm within our classroom environments. With an in-depth focus on developing a long-term meditation practice, you will be confident and capable of teaching the healing practice of meditation to your students.
  • Yoga Philosophy – We create a pathway of application for the philosophical teachings of yoga. With a strong focus on learning the intricate layers of yoga philosophy, we will additionally focus on why this is important to teaching yoga postures and how to apply this knowledge to teaching. Our goal is to educate and also generate the skills to practically apply this knowledge in the yoga classroom setting.

Yoga Teacher, Bella Prana Yoga and Meditation, Tampa, Florida

Tina Tidwell

Tina Tidwell, an E-RYT 500hr instructor and owner at Bella Prana, graduated from USF with a degree in Dance and Psychology, has performed in France, Florida, Ohio, LA and NYC and was awarded the Arts Council of Hillsborough County’s Individual Artist Grant. She found yoga, through dance, after studying with Michelle Jacobi in Paris. Tina received her 200 RYT (Ashtanga) at Yoga on High with Tim Miller and Maty Ezraty; is certified in Prenatal, Yin, Seniors, Restorative and Kids through Asheville Yoga Center’s 500 RYT with Libby Hinsley, David Keil, Doug Keller and Stephanie Keach. She challenges the body in mindful movement while using the breath as the musical cue, has worked with professional athletes and taught Yoga for Performing Artists at PAMA, USF’s Piano Symposium, USF’s Fit to Play and USF Dance.

Jessica Lynne Trese

Jessica is the Director of Teacher Trainings at Bella Prana and lead teacher of our Ashtanga program. She is committed to teaching and practicing the Ashtanga Yoga method, as taught in KPJAYI, Jessica began teaching yoga in 2007, and the daily practice of Ashtanga yoga provides her with the healing, uplifting, and insightful benefits of a committed yoga practice. Jessica uses gentle encouragement to guide students along a path of healing self-discovery through yoga. Jessica has traveled to India to study at KPJAYI with R. Sharath Jois in Mysore, India and was blessed with the Authorization to teach Ashtanga Yoga in 2013. Jessica dedicates her life to learning and sharing the Ashtanga Yoga Method, it inspires her to cultivate peace, inspiration, dedication, devotion and self surrender on and off the yoga mat.
