1. What do you love about yoga?

I took my first yoga class in 2000 as a PE class at the University of Oregon. Since then I would take a yoga class every now and then at the gym to try to help with my terrible flexibility. It wasn’t until I walked in to Bella Prana three years ago that I realized everything yoga could be. I went to my first couple of power yoga classes and was blown away by all these amazing people doing inversions and arm balances. I fell in love right there. I love the physical challenges of getting in to new, more advanced poses and there is always room to grow.

2. How has yoga and meditation changed your life?

Yoga has made me feel so much better physically. Any aches and pains I had over the years have all disappeared.  It has become especially important to me as I get older. I feel 10 years younger now and sleep like a baby. I think yoga has also helped calm me down a lot as well. I now have a pain free and stress free life, what could be better than that?

3. Why do you Practice at Bella Prana?

I practice at Bella Prana because they have so many advanced classes, amazing teachers that have been such a big part in helping advance my practice, and also because of my fellow students there. They continue to inspire and motivate me.
