This January, we’re extending our appreciation to our one-of-a-kind Mysore instructor, Jessica Lynn Trese. See how she cultivates peace, inspiration, self-growth, and loving dedication daily at Bella Prana.

Jessica Lynn Trese

When/ how did you discover yoga?

“Prior to yoga, I had been very independent with the way I tried to make my body feel better and calm my chaotic mind. When I took my first group yoga class I thought to myself: ‘this is what I’ve been trying to do my whole life, I didn’t know anyone else did it too!’ And I have practiced yoga ever since!!”

What do you love about teaching yoga?

“My favorite part of teaching yoga is sharing the journey of transformation with someone. It’s an incredible gift to be able to share in the experience as someone turns the impossible into the possible!”

How has yoga and meditation changed your life?

“Yoga as a pathway to meditative healing and self-discovery gives me the tools to be the best version of me I possibly can. Through practice, I cultivate mindfulness, strength, courage and sensitivity that I am able to use in all areas of my life!”

Why do you teach at Bella Prana?

“As a leader in our yoga community, Bella Prana offers a space for everyone to feel welcomed and safe as they explore and experience yoga. This is the type of studio I want to be a part of and it’s an honor to be a part of the Bella Prana family.”

What Jessica didn’t tell you is that she continuously travels to Mysore, India, to continue her practice in the birthplace of Ashtanga Yoga. We’re filled with gratitude to have her on our team!
